We are fortunate to a have a local ski hill 50 minutes down the road. Winterplace is a full service ski resort with 9 lifts, 27 trails and ski/snowboard instruction. It is a great place for kids to learn and has a tubing park as well. This is a super fun and easy day trip from Opossum Creek Retreat.
