Just A Great Little Cabin

Cabin 4 is all about privacy. It’s nicely tucked away among our 19 acres of woods, and all you’ll have to think about is being on vacation. It’s easy to relax in cabin 4’s open space comfort. We set out to create the perfect getaway cabin. Lots of happy guests think we succeeded.

The Bare (Comfortable) Necessities

Yes, there’s a hot tub. And a gas fireplace. And it’s comfortable for four, with a queen sized bed and two bunks. And there’s more, of course, but you get the idea. We tried to think about including everything that people might want for a private, secluded cabin. All of those things are combined in Cabin 4.

Take Your Time

Since everyone else tells you to “Act Now!”, we thought that the best way to explain what it’s like to stay at cabin 4 is to tell you to slow down. We’ve got all kinds of ideas for your vacation before you book, so give us a call. Let’s talk. This Cabin starts at the prices listed on the availability calendar in the upper right hand corner of this page based on availability. Prices include up to 2 adults. Each additional adult is 25.00 per person per night. Children 12 and under are free (1 per paying adult). We do have a three night minimum from Memorial day through Bridge day. Sometimes other reservations leave one and two night holes. Please check with us for availability.

looking for a comfy place for a mom and dad and 5 grown kids… ( youngest is 19) oldest is 25

    • Geoff says:

      Hello Susan,
That sounds like fun and so encouraging. My own kids are starting to head off on their own and it is good to see that you can get everyone back together sometimes. El Gordo would hold you and be comfy cozy. The Farm house has 1 more bedroom and more room to spread out. That said if you are planing a week The Farm House if its a few days El Gordo maybe fine. Please let me know if you have any questions.
      Thanks

  • Bev says:

Are the cabins close together? Can you see one from the other?

    • Geoff says:

Hello Bev, When you park your car you will be able to see the cabin closest to your after that they are very well situated to maximize privacy. Over The Hill is the most removed and private. Cabin 3 would be next. Well El Gordo is really the most private and can not be seen from any cabins. 4 is close to the road but no one can see in. Cabins 1 and 2 are near each other but you would only notice if you are looking in that direction.
The Meadows is the Big Cabin and sits in the Middle of the open meadow in the woods.

  • Jim says:

Are there areas to build a campfire?

    • Geoff says:

The cabins have fire pits. There are times each year that we observe the burning banes put in places by the US Forest Service.
