In between thunderstorms we took a swim in The New River beneath the famed bridge.

Today I played hooky for the cabins to help a friend finish cleaning up after the big storm that hit the new river gorge area nocking out power for over a week.

The Boone Gladiola is a new addition to the flower beds at our cabins here in the New River Gorge of West Virginia. The only know apricot colored flower.

Fall colors? Seems a little early To see this on the crystal clear waters of Summersville Lake in beautiful southern West Virginia.

O Snap! This tree is to big to hug and have my hands meet. The storm that hit the New River Gorge area last Friday left a lasting impression and some wood for us to turn into furniture. Still no power to our cabins.
